Right at the base of Table Rock is “Dogs for the Deaf”, the oldest and largest hearing dog training center in the U.S. Potential hearing dogs are rescued from animal shelters, trained, and provided free of charge to the deaf and hard-of-hearing all over North America. See for yourself how "man's best friend" is taught to respond to sounds those of us in the hearing world take for granted; doorbells...smoke alarms....the ringing of a telephone... They then alert their owners and lead them to the source of the sound.. If a dog doesn’t successfully complete the Hearing Dog training, they’re NEVER returned to the shelter. They’re placed in one of two other programs: “Dogs for Seniors” or “Special Needs”. Tours at this facility are free.

Our Rogue Valley history is rich in agriculture and a large part of that success story is Grange Co-op. It all started in 1934 in Central Point when 99 farmers invested $10 each to purchase a truck, fuel and land. In 1947, Grange Co-op began producing "Rogue Quality feeds" and their grain elevator is still an area landmark. With a long-standing tradition of serving Rogue Valley farmers and ranchers, homeowners soon discovered all the top-quality products and services that were available at Grange Co-op. That, combined with their knowledgeable staff, has led to the Grange's reputation as being one of the finest farm, home and garden centers in the state. Grange Co-op now operates stores in Central Point, Medford, Ashland, grants Pass and Klamath Falls. Grange Co-op carries on the tradition of providing fine customer service for our growing community. Grange co-op....since 1934
